A first look at the all new 2015 Ford Mustang is now available well ahead of time, it promises less retro looks & smaller bodies, while losing nothing in looks.
With Ford Mustangs now being available in Europe, it’s not too surprising that the 2015 model will be both smaller and lighter to meet more European standards. How those changes will affect the American market, it’s too soon to say. There is also a possibility of the solid rear axle finally being replaced with an independent suspension.
It is unknown, however, if the Ford Mustang Shelby will remain in the lineup through 2015. With Ford looking to replace much of its retro and vintage looks with more forward-looking cars, at least in the Mustang brand, there is no easy way to tell yet if the Shelby will be dropped for a while again or not. Early rumors seem to hint that there will also be a 2015 Ford Mustang Shelby, but it might be too soon to say.
